Illustration: Standing Figure

This was done for my Illustration class. I had to make a Standing figure that was at least 36 inches I think with 3-5 different of the given Modern Art styles: Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Japanese Woodblock, Surrealism, German Expressionism, and Old Fashion Cartoon.

I went with a Ocean goddess theme. Starting from Top to bottom: The goddess' head and hair are Art Deco, her toroso is Japanese Woodblock, her kelp skirt is Art Nouveau, the sea creatures become her legs in a surrealist style. I also added 2 little anthropomorphic old fashion cartoon mermaid characters at the bottom. Each hold a strand from a jellyfish.
